Organization: African Youth Writers Organization-AYWO
Location: At the Tamale Regional Library premises near the police park.
Beneficiaries: Children
Type: Teaching a particular skill or talent
Activity: Is a playfun program dubbed "A Fun Day of Reading And Writing" with kids. Children would be lured into reading and writing by passionate/experience mentors would volunteer their time to take a specific number of kids through the joy of reading and writing. Children are also going to be exposed to fun activities involving reading and writing. Any child that comes to the event is guaranteed at least one free storybook to take home.
Time: Date; 20th September,2014. Time;9:00am-3:00pm
Support needed: We volunteers as organizers,mentors to read with/to the kids. We also need a lot of reading books with would be given out to kids that participate in the event. We estimate 160 kids at the eVENT volunteers to provide snacks to serve the kids.

Organization: Camfed Alumni Sagnarigu
Location: Nyohini Children's Home Close to Nyohini New Clinic Nyohini
Beneficiaries: orphans
Type: Orphanage or charity home visit and donation
Activity: Painting of at least one structure at the orphanage
Time: 8:00am to 2:00pm
Support needed: Yes more volunteers needed to spread the word, Contribute one thing ie paint, brush, snack, labour, cash etc
